Crowns

Crowns are basically a cap that fits over your natural tooth. They are ideal in situations where a tooth has broken, or where a filling simply will not work. It can also be used where the natural tooth has been discoloured. Many of our customers get crowns for cosmetic reasons, where a tooth has been chipped or damaged.

Bridges

A dental bridge is used to replace a missing tooth, by fixing using the adjoining teeth. At Catherine Barry Dental, we will advise on the best option for a missing tooth. We want it to be secure, easy to maintain and above all comfortable.

Veneers

Veneers are very thin pieces of porcelain that are bonded onto the front of your teeth. This is an excellent option for those with very heavily stained teeth or those who have damaged their teeth. It can give you the perfect smile in a very short period of time.

Whitening

Once you have your treatments done, the last thing you need is perfect pearly whites! We use the at home Voco Perfect Bleach system. For your first time bleaching, you call into the surgery and we tale a mould of your teeth. We then make up your trays so that your mould suits you perfectly. This will cut down on any waste with the bleach and make it comfortable and less bulky to wear. We have different strength bleaching kits. We suggest that you start with the lowest, a 10% peroxide mix. If you do not feel any sensitivity after using this, then you can move up to the stronger one. Once you have your trays made up, you can simply pop into us whenever you need more bleach. We will run through all the finer details in the surgery with you.
